The Cornell Policy Review is pleased to announce the senior editors for the 2020-2021 school year. Each senior editor brings to the position an immense passion for public affairs and a commitment to providing policy insights that create a more informed world.
Tiffany Agard, Editor-in-Chief
Tiffany Agard is an MPA Fellow (’21) at Cornell University concentrating in Economic and Financial Policy with an interest in how financial tools can help scale development and climate change initiatives. Prior to coming to Cornell, Tiffany worked in agriculture from a variety of lenses: supporting rural agricultural entrepreneurs in both West and East Africa, marketing for a coffee retail company, consulting on major US grain crops, and working with cocoa farmers in Ecuador. During her time at Cornell, she has been a part of the Student Multidisciplinary Applied Research Teams (SMART) where she traveled to Botswana to consult with a dairy entrepreneur and worked with the Center for Regional Economic Advancement to help launch the Grow-NY start-up competition and conference in food & ag. She will be serving as a graduate resident fellow at Alice Cook House for the 2020-2021 year where she is looking forward to sharing her experiences with undergraduates and supporting personal and leadership development. Outside of CIPA, she is a Board member of Restless Development, a non-profit focused on engaging and elevating youth leadership to tackle the world’s most pressing issues. She has lived and worked on five continents and received an undergraduate degree in government and anthropology from Harvard University. In addition to her academic career, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and Afro-Latin dance.
Chukwuma Iwenofu, Senior Content Editor
Chukwuma Iwenofu is an MPA Fellow (‘21) at the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs, concentrating in Economic policy and Finance. Before coming to Cornell, He was a Research Analyst based in Abuja, Nigeria. He received his B.A in Economics and information studies at the University of Ghana, Legon Campus. Chukwuma Is interested in programs and policies aimed at helping developing countries attain sustainable development while maintaining a serviceable debt profile.
Julia Godinez, Senior Managing Editor
Julia Godinez is an MPA Fellow (’21) at the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs concentrating in Economic and Financial Policy. Before attending Cornell, Julia served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala working in the domains of youth skill development, sexual education, and program evaluation. Julia is interested in mixed-method policy and program Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). She received her B.A. in Economics and History from Mount Holyoke College and is a Posse Scholar.
Cosmas Emeziem, Senior Public Relations Editor
Cosmas Emeziem is a CIPA Fellow and Researcher—concentrating in International Development Policy and Law. Before CIPA, he had completed his (SJD—Doctor of the Science of Law) in International and Comparative Law—exploring Truth Commissions as frameworks of Transitional Justice at Cornell Law School. Cosmas also taught courses on the Law of International Organization, and Transitional Justice at Cornell Law School. He is interested in further understanding the intersection between law and public affairs, and how best to utilize that in delivering public service and development.
