Hillary Mara is a second year fellow at the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs (CIPA). She is concentrating on International Development with a focus on agricultural and livelihood development in West Africa. Before coming to CIPA, Hillary served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guinea and Mali working with women's cooperative groups on agroforestry and agribusiness projects. She currently works in IP-CALS for the System of Rice Intensification and on gender programs.
